0:48.7	So what does this expression mean? It means you need the latest, the newest, the freshest information.
1:00.1	So maybe you have had a vacation for a week.
1:04.5	And now you come back to work and you wonder what your coworkers are doing. You can ask them, hey, so what has been going on,
1:14.5	what has been happening the past week, please bring me up to speed.
1:20.9	And then they'll give you all the information, and then you are up to speed.
1:27.4	Okay, does this make sense? Maybe you're a student and maybe you were sick
1:31.4	for a couple of days. So then you go back to school and you want to say to your teacher,
1:37.0	oh, I'm sorry, I was sick, I was absent. Can you bring me up to speed? What do I need to study? What should I prepare? Can you bring me up to speed?
1:48.1	And then when the professor or your teacher gives you all the information, then you are up to speed.
1:55.8	Hey, Shane, you were absent for three days. Did you talk to the professor? Are you up to speed? Yes, I talked to him this
