Today we have my friend Daniel Franco of Bert Timber Outfeters based out of Hebrew Arizona.

Daniel, how you doing?

Great, how you doing Jay?

Good.

Obviously, you're probably excited about what's been going on the last couple of months.

Tell us about it.

Rain. Lots of rain. We've even had some snow. We've, you know, typically April

in May we don't see a ton of moisture and boy this year's been off the charts we've had

great moisture this spring coming right off of a really really wet winter so yeah

it's exciting it's exciting to think of what might be here in a few months come this fall.

I think with the snow that little snow that we got this morning I think that makes 11 days of

measurable precipitation in the month of May. So that's pretty awesome.

Normally we're dry and windy and it's been good.

Daniel, obviously today with the regulations coming up on June 11th, the deer applications being

due, we're going to talk about deer, but I can't help, but I just have you on the phone

and talk about, you know, you hunt 3C, 4B, 4A, 23, unit 1, all those rim country units, but you're born and raised right there in Hebrew,

Arizona.

I can't help but have you on the phone and talk about your thoughts moving forward with, you the elk season coming up and we'll get to the deer in a minute

but what are you thinking like I mean you're you're in your 40s you lived there your whole. I mean have you seen it like this? Is this like the old days or is this even like better than you've ever seen it?

You know, I can remember a year or two when we had a you know this good of a winter and

rolled into this good of a spring and even early summer. I don't I mean don't remember a lot of them that's for sure. They're not, they're definitely
