we are going to be talking about the case of the Stockdale family.

So today's case is a pretty different type of case than what we usually cover because

we're looking into the Stockdale family murders, also known as the WifeSwap Marders.

Yes, WifeSwap.

How many of you guys remember WifeSwap?

The reality show where two wives swap families and it all turns into one big drama.

Well back in 2008 during a now infamous episode, a family called the Stockdale family were

featured on the show and the Stockdale family were basically this super strict religious

conservative family.

They had a ton of rules for their kids and then years later in 2017 a complete tragedy

occurred in the family and at the centre of all of this was one of the children who

featured on the show Jacob Stockdale and of course this case was huge in the news because

the Stockdale family had featured on WifeSwap and that episode with the Stockdale family

was pretty infamous before this case and we're going to be looking into all of that today.

We're going to really focus on WifeSwap and the infamous episode that the Stockdale family

were on. So let's dive in.

Jacob Stockdale was born on the 28th of May 1992 making him a Gemini and he grew up in a

remote town called Bollivar, Bollivar I really hope that I'm pronouncing that right in

Ohio where he lived with his parents Tim and Kathy and then his three other brothers.

Jacob came from what can definitely be described as a very religious, very conservative family.
