Solomonster reviews AEW Dynamite for September 6th, the post-All Out edition, with the start of the Grand Slam Eliminator tournament, an excellent confrontation between MJF and Samoa Joe and the start of a program with Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. The pacing wasn't as chaotic as it usually is with the Wednesday shows, which was a notable plus.

So now guys, it is the post all out AW Dynamite review for Wednesday, September 6,

0:06.3

2000 and 23. I am the Salamonster. Not a big crowd in the building tonight for Dynamite. There

0:13.2

were around 3000 people in the building, but they were very vocal 3000 people for a show that

0:20.4

felt like a reset in some ways coming out of all out. We have the start of the grand slam

0:26.4

eliminator tournament that we first heard about last week to crown a number one contender for the

0:31.2

AW World Championship at Grand Slam, which is coming up September 20th at Arthur Ashe Stadium

0:37.1

back here in New York City. We had our first matches in that tournament. In fact, the entire tournament

0:42.7

is going to be wrapped up by next Wednesday. We have more matches coming up on Friday, additional

0:48.0

matches on Saturday and by this time next week we will know who will be challenging for the AW World

0:54.8

Championship against MJF. MJF was on the show tonight for a promo battle face to face with one

1:02.8

Samoa Joe, which is what I was excited to see on this show when they said that MJF would be

1:07.6

addressing Samoa Joe. We got a little tease of that. It all out when we had their little encounter

1:13.4

when Joe blew right by him and gave him a little shove on his way down to the ring and then we ended

1:18.4

up with a pull apart brawl between the two. That's what I was really looking forward to seeing

1:23.7

tonight. They did not disappoint and we are clearly going to be getting that match very soon,

1:28.0

maybe not at Grand Slam. Not a Grand Slam slam dunk that we are getting that match, although we

1:35.3

probably should, if we're being honest here, that is the match that we should get at Arthur Ashe.

1:39.9

Tickets are not selling very well at all compared to how they've sold before. They need some kind of

1:45.6

attraction to move tickets on that show. I think Joe and MJF would be a hell of a lot stronger

1:51.5

than any other possible match that they could be doing with MJF on that show.

1:56.6

Darby Allen, Nick Wayne, we're in the mid event tonight in the tournament. Christian Cage and

2:02.9

Luchasaur is watching on and so that issue is continuing between Christian and Darby and where
