0:42.2	Hey there, sproutsouts today is Wednesday, March 19th, 20205. Today is also a very important feast day. Today we celebrate St. Joseph, the spouse of Mary, and the earthly father of Jesus Christ. This is a super important feast day celebrated in many beautiful ways across almost every culture. In fact,
0:49.3	the name St. Joseph is given to more schools, hospitals, and churches than any other name, besides, of course, Mary,
0:59.3	but it is a very important saint that other saints actually loved to. St. Andre Beset,
1:06.1	a Canadian saint, loved St. Joseph. St. Teresa of Avila loved St. Joseph. He is a very powerful
1:15.4	father for us all to call on. And St. Joseph reminds us that everything can be holy. Even our
1:23.8	dreams can be holy. Also, St. Joseph, if you read the gospel accounts,
1:30.3	he doesn't have a single word quoted in the gospels,
1:34.7	not even one.
1:36.2	So that, again, is a good reminder to us
1:39.2	that sometimes we are called to silence and obedience.
1:45.9	So this week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we are talking about our souls.
1:51.2	We've already talked about the soul as the animating principle of our body and also the creation
1:57.9	story where God breathed into the body and that that is a powerful way to know
2:03.7	that our soul is active too. Today we are going to talk about heaven and the soul.
2:10.7	But before we get to that, please join me in our March prayer, the Fatima Prayer.
2:17.0	In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
2:22.1	amen. Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven,
2:30.8	especially those who are in most need of your mercy. amen. In the name of the Father and of the
2:37.6	Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen. So what does the soul have to do with heaven? Well, everything.
