Last month, the second Biden official resigned publicly over the administration's role

in the Gaza genocide. Tarah Kabash had worked in the Department of Education for nearly

three years after being appointed as the special assistant in the Department of Education for nearly three years,

after being appointed as the special assistant to the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Policy Development,

where his work focused on student loans.

In his resignation letter, Tarek wrote,

I cannot represent an administration that does not value all human life equally.

I cannot stay silent as this administration turns a blind eye to the atrocities committed

against innocent Palestinian lives.

happy. Glad to be here. So you were a senior official in the Biden administration. A lot of

other people working in the government in some capacity has come out anonymously to criticize

the administration for its stance on this issue, you chose a different path.

You resigned publicly in protest.

That's a pretty huge decision to make

that could affect your career in the future, Tarek.

What made you feel like this was the only thing that you could do?
