22-year-old Logan Sinclair shuffles into an interview room at the Parma Police Station in Parma, Ohio, a city on the southern edge of Cleveland.

He's wearing a white and blue hospital gown. His left arm is in a sling, and he hunches over while walking, assisted by a uniformed police officer.

The officer helps him hobble over to one of two office chairs behind a desk.

Logan sits down and lets out an audible groan. A plane clothed detective then enters the room and asks if he wants something to drink, water or a pop.

And he tearfully says he'll take a pop. He leans back in his chair and winces in pain.

It's December 1st, 2015. Just two days earlier, the house where Logan lived with his girlfriend and her mom was surrounded by Parma police officers.

A SWAT team armored vehicle was parked out front, and one of the officers was yelling into the vehicle's PA system for Logan to come out with his hands up.

Parked in the driveway was a gold Toyota Camry with visible blood drops on the inside and outside. There was also blood on the door to the house.

Suddenly, the front door opened and Logan appeared, one arm in the air. The officers closest to him were yelling commands now, telling him to put both arms up.

Logan tearfully called out that he was injured and that his left arm wasn't working. He couldn't put it into the air.

He slowly backed towards the officers and when he got close enough, they tackled him to the ground, placing him in handcuffs.

Meanwhile, just six minutes down the road, at the Senaco gas station on Pearl Road, yellow crime scene tape was being put up.
