Welcome in to another edition of the Under Center podcast here on NBC Sports Chicago.

We've got free agency next week to talk about.

0:17.5

And the Bears, it's going to be kind of boring outside of two positions, you would think.

But who knows, Ryan Pace has surprised us in the past.

I'm JJ Stankovitz, joined as always, by Paul Aspen and Cam Ellis here in our downtown Chicago

If you haven't taken a listen to the podcast I did with Robert Mays of the Ringer on Monday,

Podcasts, wherever you get your podcasts, some really good stuff and some stuff that kind of

0:42.9

colored our opinions of some of the questions we're going to talk about today. Cam and I were

0:47.1

talking about that beforehand. So let's launch right into it. We've got one final debate about

1:12.6

that they could keep both and still address some of the depth issues that they have down the

1:16.6

depth chart? Based on the way the safety market's shaping out, it just might be. I mean,

1:21.6

you add Eric Weddell to the mix, you add Landon Collins to the mix, comes a little more top heavy. Maybe a guy like Adrian Amos, I mean, he's not maybe even as regarded as top five of the guys out there when you think of like Tyron Matthew, Earl Thomas, injured or not.

1:36.2

And so, yeah, it just might be if we're talking about if they can get both done and still address some of the other things they're thinking about.

1:41.9

I think that's the best point here is that it's such an absurdly deep safety class.

1:48.0

And maybe Amos is better than some of these names that would be listed above him that maybe

1:52.0

just have a little more clout name-wise.
