I think there has been a failure of Washington elites and what I'm about to say will ensure

that everybody will be angry at me. So I'm going to go ahead and say it. Whether you

love George W. Bush or Hayden George W. Bush, whether you love Barack Obama or Hayden

Barack Obama, whether you love Donald Trump or Hayden Donald Trump, I can tell you, these

three gentlemen shared one thing in common. They didn't understand Washington. They didn't

really like being in Washington. And all of them would prefer to have watched ESPN most

for the day, to actually being present at the United States.

This week we have an awesome, awesome interview with Joe Scarborough of Morning Joe. We originally

planned on recording for that typical 35 to 45 minute period, but it just kept going

and going and going. But that was really because we're having such a great time. We originally

here to talk about his book, Saving Freedom, Truman, the Cold War and the Five for Reston

Civilization. Definitely go check it out. But it quickly expanded to pretty much cover

everything from the Cold War to the Bush years to his time in Congress to whether cable

news is still cool. So there's just so much we hit there. Yeah, there's a lot there.

And I think people are really going to enjoy this conversation. But one thing I wanted

to preempt, I wanted to change things just a little bit here from our new sub stack real
