Today in America, more than 100,000 people

are waiting for an organ transplant.

Also today, just like any other day,

approximately 17 of those people will die while waiting.

For those lucky enough to get a transplant, they'll have to take immunosuppressant

drugs for the rest of their lives, and these drugs come with a lot of side effects.

We gain GI issues and inflammation, sleep issues. I have a lot of like

bloating and that kind of thing and sort of weird, weird food- related stuff.

Travel is hard for me.

Infections are really hard.

I've had sepsis twice.

My bones ache, headaches, blurry vision, ear ringing.
