0:30.0	We're just going to dive right into this Christmas season because it's one it's a tricky time because there's so many different stories that are interwoven into this experience.
0:42.0	Last night my wife Kim and her team hosted around 200 people, most of them who were refugees from Syria and the Middle East,
0:51.0	most of them, many of them, Muslims who are experiencing community and friendship and family
0:59.0	created by people who follow Jesus. It was such an interesting interaction this time where all these
1:05.8	Muslim families were coming and they're hearing the story of Jesus for the first time. And
1:10.5	if it wasn't confusing enough, after we explained the story of Jesus, they had a Santa Claus.
1:16.0	And so after Jesus, we had Santa Claus and all the children were far more excited about Santa Claus.
1:21.0	And there was a lot more possibility there and of
1:25.1	potential gifts coming soon and I did see one American child crying when they
1:29.5	saw Santa Claus but all the Muslim children just ran they were were just so excited. It was their first time.
1:34.0	And that this is going to be so interesting to unwind this because probably for them, they've never seen Jesus in the Bible and they've never seen Santa Claus in the Bible and they have no idea which one's actually in the Bible and they've never seen Santa Claus in the Bible and they have no idea which
1:43.4	one's actually in the Bible. And so sometimes it happens is is that these these
1:49.8	beautiful stories become myths and fables and it can almost be disconnected from
1:56.9	history and from reality. And have you ever taken some time and read the scriptures and realized that a lot of it is really uninteresting?
