I have to say, we don't really have three pet guests. I feel like you're the Tom Hanks of the Brown Ambition podcast.

So what's new with you? Other than moving to Texas, having all your kids be geniuses and rocking it in college right now. What's going on in Lynette's world?

My son, you know, he's 19 now. He sent an email and it said the subject lines say Jordan sneakers.

And the email was to me an Earl and then to my ex, Akiel and his wife, Sia. And he said, hey guys, growing up, honestly, I always wanted to pair Jordan's.

The problem was they were too expensive to ask for at $250. I always thought they were the coolest looking shoes and I always said that one day when I had the money, I would buy them.

I always knew exactly which ones I wanted to the red and black Jordan ones called air Jordan one retro high OG.

And so with my latest paycheck, he stayed home over spring break and he didn't come. He's at North Carolina, stayed in Raleigh.

And he I said, boy, don't you want to come home? He's like, no, I want to work. So I was like, okay, fine, whatever.

But he goes and so with my latest paycheck of working spring break and extra hours that he put in parentheses $450 after taxes, I decided I might buy them.
