So for those of you who are not sure what Metformin is, let's start by discussing it.

So metformin is an oral medication that belongs to a class of drugs called byguanides.

And it works in the body by improving your insulin response.

It also reduces the amount of sugar produced by the liver, and it increases the

uptake of glucose by the muscle cell. So it does three amazing things, and it's a medication that's

been around for a really long time. It's safe for most people, and that's why it's often prescribed

as a first-line treatment for type 2 diabetes due to its effectiveness

in lowering blood glucose levels. And like I said, it's low risk of causing hypoglycemia or

low blood sugar. Now before we jump in to how you can navigate the side effects of metformin,
