Hello and welcome to Storytime for grownups.

I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

Each episode, I'll read one chapter from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations so it's easier to follow along.

It's like an audiobook with built-in notes.

So brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair,

and settle in. It's snowed and rained ice chips all day yesterday, and now it is like 17 degrees, feels like five, or something like that. So it is a perfect day, at least where I am,

to snuggle up with a hot drink of your choice. Mine is tea, always tea. I like a good English

breakfast tea with

some milk and a little bit of sugar. But whatever your drink is of choice, it's a great day to

settle in within your cozy chair with a blanket and your cup of tea or coffee or hot chocolate

or whatever you like to do and read a book or in this case listen to a book.
