We're going deep dive into John's Gospel.

We're in John, chapter 18.

If you've got a Bible, and it's interesting,

I'll never forget, I don't know if you had this experience the first time I logged on to check out Google Earth.

I had heard about it and logged on and there is a picture of the entire planet and I think, wow, that's God's perspective.

It's very amazing to see things from God's vantage point.

And then you could plug in an address and then frame by frame

everything narrows in to a very precise location that you get close up

eyewitness account of and you need to know that in some regard your Bible functions

like that the Bible opens in the beginning

God created the heavens and the earth. Boom there's the Cosmos and then the rest of

the Bible just narrows in frame by frame by frame with everything concentrated

gathering information focusing attention to one point and to one place

and that's the cross of Jesus Christ. And that's where we find ourselves

in John's gospel today. In John chapter 18, Jesus is just moments from going to the cross to suffer and die in our place for our sins.
