Because I don't think anybody looks good in this situation. Let me explain.

For those of you who don't know, the Cardinal signed Murray to a multi-year extension, which if you have a quarterback that's worth anything at all, you're going to do that.

And he is. He's pretty good. I personally don't believe in him.

I don't think that he's a championship quarterback, but I understand that getting quarterback play.

It's at a premium. It's at a real premium. So if you got a guy that you think might turn the light switch on and get you deep into the playoffs, I understand having to sign him to an extension.

And then there's a couple of clauses that are inside of his contract. One of the clauses is, hey, man, you're going to stop flirting with baseball.

We're going to get you this money, but you're going to stop with the I might go play baseball stuff. I understand that.

It was a measure of leverage that Kyler had that really no other player had, Russell Wilson jokes about playing baseball, but he wasn't the level of prospect that Kyler Murray was.
