homeland of Jorgenclop, even Africa with both Mohammed Sala and Sadio Manet hailing from the continent.

But what about Brazil from where both Allison Becker and Roberto Fimino grew up?

Whilst they will deserve honorable mentions for generations, Scandinavia has been obsessive

about all things Liverpool FC, dating back through players such as Jan Mulby, Sammy Herpier,

John Arna Risa and Daniel Ager. Perhaps above all though, it's

Reese's homeland of Norway which is most commonly tied to Anfield. I'm Guy Clark.

Welcome to the Blood Red Podcast as we take a closer look at Liverpool, Norway and a country

re-emerging at the elite level of the game, courtesy of two players in particular.

Will rather than focus specifically

on the links between the country and the Reds,

we'll be focusing on two of the country's

young precocious talents in Martin Odergard and Erling Harland, two players who even in their formative years

have shaped the European football narrative at various times.

We'll hear from Norwegian football expert Yorn Henricsson Sherpa

former Norway international come broadcaster Jan Anga Fjertoft

as well as Red Bull Salzburg Boss Jessie Marsh

who of course oversaw Erling Harlan's rapid rise prior to signing with

German giants Barusia Dortmund. Before we get into all of that though
