0:20.8	I don't think I've ever heard of that but it makes perfect sense inside my own brain.
0:24.8	So I assume I'm not the only one.
0:26.4	Tell us about what this is and how we can use it to our advantage.
0:29.7	Okay, well this is actually, it's determined linguistics and it basically means how easy
0:34.9	it is for a message to go down.
0:36.6	Okay, and there's some great, there's some really great research on showing that why rhymes
0:43.4	are often more persuasive than non-rimes.
0:45.9	And this, this research was done at Lafayette College and what they did is they got a group
0:49.2	of participants, divided them into two groups and they were given a set of proverbs and
0:53.8	the proverbs, they were, they were asked to say, do these proverbs accurately describe
0:58.9	the human condition?
1:00.8	And for one group, the proverbs rhymed and for other groups, they didn't rhyme.
1:05.9	So it would be, so for the non-rhyming group would be woes, unite enemies and for the other
1:12.3	group it would be woes, unite foes.
1:15.2	And so what they are measuring is, you know, how does this rhyming and not rhyming determine
1:21.2	what people actually think of the truth of the, of the proverbs?
