I shaved today. My name is Bob. I'm a therapist in practice in Seattle who shaved today,

sitting in the spare room of my house, hiding out from a virus,

and finding that connecting with clients over Zoom is surprisingly intimate and satisfying.

Oh, really?

Yeah. Oh good. Upper-tier patron Jesse, they write,

Regarding Tissues.

So Jesse wrote in, because you and I were talking about

whether, while a client was crying, you would say,

hey, I have tissue.

I find it really comforting when someone

hands me the box of tissue when I'm crying. Or even just if someone acknowledges

that there are tissue. It used to be more of an issue for me. Now I just reach over and

get a tissue but I used to feel so ashamed and weird to be crying that I would kind of

freeze up and it helped when my therapist

prompted me that it was okay to have a Kleenex. So just some feedback on that.
