Just a few days ago, President Trump and the co-leaders of the public-private COVID-19

vaccine effort known as Operation Work Speed delivered a press conference to update the

public on their efforts, particularly in light of the fact that the COVID-19 vaccine

candidate produced by Pfizer is set to be approved under an emergency use authorization

at the end of this month.

Trump and the other speakers praised Pfizer as standing among one of the, quote, greatest

companies anywhere in the world and repeated the claim that Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine

candidate was 90% effective.

However, those efficacy rates are self-reported results presented to the public by Pfizer itself

and they have yet to be subject to public scrutiny.

But this hasn't kept mainstream media or government officials from uncritically repeating

the claim as they have long promoted the vaccine as magically heralding the end of the

coronavirus crisis.

Meanwhile, we have officials in the U.S. like Dr. Anthony Fauci now openly claiming that

the vaccine will not bring back any semblance of normalcy as mask wearing and social distancing

are to remain necessary even if a majority of people choose to receive the vaccine.

All of this, together with the fact that there has been so little interest among the media

and asking any critical questions of Pfizer, a court behemoth, with a lengthy list of

horrific and even deadly scandals, gives more than enough cause for concern.
