0:00.0 | We are live now on the Conversations That Matter podcast. I'm your host, John Harris, as always, |
0:06.9 | here to talk about, at least what I think are important topics, and specifically for Christians, |
0:13.1 | we're going to talk about apologetics today. And a lot of my motivation in even having this podcast, |
0:20.1 | I suppose you could say, is an apologetics focus. |
0:23.5 | When I first went to college, I was involved in a college career group. I eventually became |
0:29.6 | a leader in that group, and I've been involved in several other college career groups since that time. |
0:34.6 | And on college campuses, obviously, there's a lot of questions about the Bible |

0:51.9 | unbelievers, because that really is the end goal. I want them to know the gospel. |

1:12.1 | they should adopt the ways of Christ and the ways of Scripture. And so it's really a defense of |
1:17.5 | God's word. And so in that vein, though, I obviously have this channel, which I think was built |
1:24.6 | primarily off of people wanting answers on social justice. |
1:27.9 | So that's been my specific focus for a few years. |
1:31.3 | But in focusing on that, one thing I noticed is that a lot of the attacks on Christianity |
1:39.6 | aren't necessarily specifically just against Christianity. |
1:44.1 | They're against the natural order God has set up. |
1:47.0 | And I've talked about this many times. A good example of that is masculinity and femininity. |
1:52.0 | And this has driven me to ask some questions publicly about the role of presuppositional apologetics versus natural law. |
