Kevin, thank you for this opportunity to look into your word. In many ways this is a very

unique time for us to spend together as men and I pray that you will use this study. May your word

pierce our hearts. May your word renew our minds and may your word really challenge our wills.

So Father, we commit this time to you in Jesus' name,

And as I begin, I feel like I need to just welcome those who watch us live around the world.

The last two weeks, I was in Los Angeles preaching at the Shepherds Conference two weeks ago and then this past week I've

been at the Lig International Conference. I can't tell you how many people came up to me and

said that they watched the study and we don't even know that they're watching and it's posted

inventoryed on the web page but not a few but a lot of people are right here in the room with us. So if you're watching right

now live wherever you are we welcome you and are thrilled that you're spending

this time with us and it's amazing too how many women are

watching this thing so I told them they had to put a ball cap on to watch the men

study to watch the men study. So Romans 1, we're in Romans 1 and I promise you we're

going to finish Romans 1 all So, but as John MacArthur says, deeper is better than shallower, slower is

better than faster, so that's kind of what we're doing here a little bit.
