It's a total pleasure to get to be on here with you because I've gotten to know your story a little bit about you, as probably many people have through your Twitter profile and some of the various things that you do as you tweet stuff out as you're going to these various motivational speaking gigs and

everything like that. For people who might not know, John was in the military, I believe in the

army. Were you in the army? Can you just got to tell people your origin story about how you

you've come into this motivational speaking, what it was that happened to you?

Sure. So in 2006, I was on a deployment to Iraq stationed at Camp Fallujah. We were attached

to the Marine Corps. And then on December 2nd, 2006, a patrol that I was a part of, our vehicle,

one of our fully uparmored Humvee, we hit a 200 pound improvised explosive device, which

destroy the vehicle.
