25 year old Kristen Charbonneau was last seen leaving her place of employment,

Baby Dolls Adult Entertainment Club in Far East Fort Worth on August 11, 2005.

There had been an incident between Christin. 11th, 2005.

There had been an incident between Kristen and her manager.

Presumably she'd been drinking on the job, which isn't necessarily abnormal for a dancer, but alcohol mixed with the medication Kristen was taking for bipolar disorder made her unstable according to her boss.

Another dancer who was carrying Kristen's bag, walked her to the door of the club, where

they were met by a baby doll's regular, a man named Daniel Moore, who took the bag and accompanied Kristen out.

When the cab arrived to take the young woman home, she was nowhere to be seen, nor was Moore. Upon returning to the club,

Daniel Moore appeared bothered by something. When Kristen was reported missing by her boyfriend two days later,

witnesses told the Uless police that Moore was the last person they'd seen with her.

And when questioned on two separate occasions, Daniel Moore's account

of what happened that day had inconsistencies.

When asked to take a polygraph test, he refused and cut off communication with law enforcement completely.

Police were further alarmed when the dancer who walked Kristen to the club's door, and who was with her when more met them there,

even later picking him out of a photo lineup, told them that he'd stalked her from job to job in an effort to

intimidate her into keeping quiet. The Uless police thought for sure Daniel Moore was responsible for Kristen's disappearance.

But when the second investigation was winding down, they were unable to bring charges

against him due to lack of evidence.

Kristen's parents, Monica and David Charbonneau, however, weren't going to sit back and
