Hey, deserving listeners. In this episode, I'm going to be talking about the psychology of Larry Nasser.

If you're not familiar with him, he was the main doctor for the USA Gymnastics National Team.

He was accused of molesting hundreds of young people and young adults,

both males and females from about the age of 1992 until 2016.

That's, you know, 24 years, but he was probably abusing people way before that.

And in this episode, I'm definitely going to get into his psychology.

I'm definitely going to get into his history and maybe why he did these horrible things.

But what I'm more interested in talking about are the implications for us and for society.

Because this isn't an isolated case. This happens frequently.

And only the most sensational cases do we end up hearing about.

And only very few cases actually get convicted.

So this episode is going to be about Larry Nasser.

But it's also going to be about an indictment on our society for letting this happen for so long.

Because I think that people hear these kinds of stories about Larry Nasser and they go,

oh my god, he's such a monster. And they might hear a little bit more information like,

oh, there were people who enabled Larry Nasser to do these things.

And I think, oh, those enablers are terrible people.

And then they walk away feeling like they're superior and that they would never do such a thing.

Well, I'm here to tell you that if you were in the position of the enablers,

you probably would have enabled Larry Nasser to do it as well.

And I know that might shock you and you might think you're better than that.
