show, one that I think both of us enjoy diving into. Where could I be talking about the legends

of Atlantis and Lemuria? You know, the very name Atlantis tends to evoke images of a lost

civilization, submerged beneath the murky ocean waters, teeming with advanced technology, mysticism, and intrigue.

And for centuries, the idea of this lost city has captured the imaginations of historians, archaeologists, and thrill seekers alike.

But is Atlantis merely a myth,

or could there be something more to it? So today we're going to dive into the mysteries

surrounding Atlantis and Lemuria, exploring their origins theories, and some really

fun, interesting facts around what we can learn about their myths and legends today. We first heard about

Atlantis from the Greek philosopher Plato around 360 BC, and he described Atlantis as a powerful

and highly advanced civilization that existed 9,000 years before his time. And according to him, it was a large island located beyond the

pillars of Hercules, which today is the Strait of Gibraltar, situated in the middle of the

ocean. He said Atlantis was an idolized society, flourishing with natural resources, advanced

engineering, and impressive infrastructure. In the

island, if you can picture, he described it as consisting of concentric rings of land and water

with the capital city in the very center ring, which featured grand temples and palaces

and a highly organized society. Now, Plato said the people of Atlantis were descended from the gods and were initially

very virtuous, living in harmony with nature and each other.
