Let's get into it.

So we're back with vice debates on the subject of masculinity, where we have nine men brought together to discuss the ins and outs of what it means to be a man, particularly in America.

We got halfway through this on our last live show.

So now we're going to watch the other half.

See what these nine men have to say.

We left off on the subject matter of men and their emotions and how they express them or choose not to express them.

So let's go.

Get one of the box, if you will.

I think that vulnerability for men, oftentimes, if you to surrender and like that is a, you know, I mean, that's an example of weakness in which like someone can possibly take advantage of it or it used to be view to such, you know, where it's like,

all right, cool. Like he cried.

Oh, that means he's soft.

So not a challenge.

And this is something that I really struggle with as a black man, a group in the hood.

You couldn't be soft.

I would imagine that that's 100% true.

That your environment can dictate a lot of the way that a lot of the ways that you act in how you respond to people and what vulnerability you're willing to show.

And if you're growing up in a particularly dangerous environment, where there's forms of masculinity and men that can

be very violent, abrasive, overly assertive, and maybe vulnerability would look like a major weakness to you.

And that would be something that you would keep to yourself.

And I imagine that happens to a lot of men and probably more so men than women.

But I think it happens to everybody.
