Hey everybody it's Joe Trippy and welcome back to that Trippy show today's

special episode is something a little different.

It's about a movie. Kiss the future. It's about the Bosnia war, about how quickly and

suddenly a nation where people have lived and worked together and share a love of their country

can collapse into hate, revenge, violence, and all-out war, how quickly that can happen, how a strong man fans the emotional flames and how

music, art, culture provided a light that brought people together and gave them hope to see that

light kept lit for peace. It's a period and a place I know. I was there for some of it. But today I wanted to bring on our special

guest Bill Carter, who wrote the screenplay and it was based on his book,

Full's Rush Inn, both a great read

and literally when I watched a preview of the, I got to see an advanced copy of the movie, it brought back some

both haunting memories of my time on the ground in Belgrade during this and also some memories of that light that

we'll talk about from some of the artists and radio stations and others that combine that you'll see in this in the movie.
