When I say our, I am including my co-host and sister, Autumn, who is currently away on sabbatical. In her absence, and in honor of the book Fables and Spells, I'm going full witch this season, and having conversations with some of my favorite witches and teachers, and also reading a little bits and pieces from the book.

Now, what I mean by which is people who work with elements of the natural world, including our human nature, to generate more possibilities.

Witching is engaging the essential natural world with magic, healing, beneficial, or supernatural intentions.

Some names for what I'm including in this work, shamanism and sorcery, seeing, healing, herbalism, midwifery, and doula labor, raky and root work, conjuring, ritual, and spell casting, astrology, divination, sound baths, all kinds of baths, ultra building, song channeling, all manner of building a direct relationship with the realm of the ancestors, the spirit, the holy, the ethereal, and ourselves.

Following that introduction, I'm doing great, I'm doing good, I'm taking some time to move slower this summer, I'm incoming off of a healing event for myself, and so I'm happy that the stars aligned, because for a moment there I'm like, I don't know if it's going to align.

So I'm happy that the stars align, and that here we are.

I'm so glad. I feel like every single interview I've been able to do for this season has been like a lot has to align, which is first of all, our busy.

And we are much more likely than others to change our schedule based on changing conditions, because we're like, the conditions just change, and I'll write no more.

Like, I got to be in the right place. So someday I will share with people just like the process of scheduling the season has been so magical, because folks will be like, the moon.

I'm just like, I'm sorry, I scheduled this on a full boot or whatever you don't like my bad Mercury's in retrograde, what was I think?

I love that you say our schedule is based on changing conditions, so I love that line.

I feel like now when I make plans with people, my intention is for this to happen, and we'll be present and see if that still works in that moment.

And I've started to really trust that, that I'm like, any manner of things could be happening, but it's not good if it's not good.
