It's great to have you back here on the show. We of course love the top dog of the week here on the show. We, of course, love the top dog of the week here on the Michigan Insider.

Before we even get to the top dog of the week, let's jump in and talk about what is now less than a month away,

Walk and Wag, the biggest event of the year on the calendar, and we are less than a month away.

Tell everybody all about it.

Yes, Walk and Wag is May 17th at Rolling Hills County Park in Ipsi, and it's our biggest event of the year.

It's not only a fundraiser for the shelter, but it's a really fun day out at the park.

Bring your dog, bring your family. We've got a 5K run, a mile walk, and then a whole dog festival with lots of games and

activities and kids crafts and food trucks, all kinds of fun stuff. And Sam likes to call it a

Cedar Point for Dogs, and it's a great event, May 17th, Walk and Wag, and we'll, of course,

continue to talk about it over these next few weeks, but get signed up and we'll see everybody out at Walken Wag on May 17th.

All right, Laura, tell everybody about this week's top dog of the week.

All right.

This week's dog is named Tonka.

He's four years old, tan pit bull mix, and, you know, a really good sign about a dog is when their foster family is totally in love with them.

Tonka went to foster, and they said he instantly settled in, is just really sweet and gentle.

Even when he's excited, he's really gentle with people.

He loves all ages. He's potty trained. Doesn't chew on things in the house.

Just really loves hanging out with you and going for walks and is a pretty chill guy.
