0:14.3	name Mike Force was me being a little egotistical saying I was a force to be reckoned with, like
0:20.0	Mike Force. Mike Force actually comes from Vietnam history with the gentleman that I'm sitting
0:25.5	right next to, which has to do with supporting McVee Saug operations. Mike Force units,
0:32.0	hatchet forces were supporting the operations this man was doing. I have with me today Henry Dick
0:40.0	Thompson, who just wrote the book, Saug codame guy to my, a McVee Saug's 100 personal journal.
0:48.0	And just recently reading this book out in the field with one of our classes, kind of off grid,
0:55.6	it brought chills to my spine. I grew up reading these books. I grew up reading John Plaster's book.
1:04.0	But before we kick off this podcast, I do want to read just the first page because it sets
1:12.4	the path for these experiences. I also want to say a big shout out to Jaco Willink.
1:19.6	I hate to say that it may be seal. It's responsible for telling the stories of Green Berets.
1:25.2	But if it wasn't for Jaco's grateful and humble opportunities given to many of these men,
1:34.4	a lot of you wouldn't know these stories. A lot of these men's stories one have never been told before.
1:42.7	For real good reasons, including classifications, like decades of classification. But also,
1:47.9	they had ever had a platform. And for the first time, you know, I think started with John
1:51.5	Striker Meyer. I know you were just on Jaco's podcast. That's changing. And we hope to be
1:59.4	part of that change on Mike Force podcast. I hope to go to Vietnam with some of these men
2:03.9	in the near future. So we can go back and be shown American history in where these epic
2:12.7	battles were taking place. I mean, we'd have to go outside of Vietnam for that because that's
2:17.9	what these men did. I'm going to start off with just I'm just going to read quickly a couple
2:23.6	paragraphs of the first chapter. Chapter one, born on the path on the plains of hesitation,
2:30.4	like the black and bones of countless millions who at the dawn of victory laid down to rest and
