No problem. I got plenty of time I'm retired. That's that's awesome you earn you earn that. I wanted to you know the unfortunate being about

podcast period is there's not enough time in the world to kind of really get you guys a story who who set the path for so many including myself.

I tell the story often that the only reason I

wanted to be a Green Beret is because of the stories that were told based on

the things that you guys did where I mean it was just a couple guys that were

coming out John Plaster that were coming out telling these stories and I realized

there's a segment of the population even in the military's elite that are doing the most elite and that's something that a lot of

young men that I grew up with wanted to aspire to be.

So I'm very humbled and honored to be sitting here in front of you.

And I mean, nothing compares compared to what you guys went through I'll say that first and

foremost I actually want to get into your service because it didn't start in the Army

no they started with the Marine Corps. Yeah, I had that history and tradition in my family of Marines. My grandfather was a Canadian Marine got killed in World War I.

And my father was a Marine got screwed up on Palu.

He came back, never was the same.

So, and then my uncle was in a third wave in the Eumudima in the Marine Corps.

So it was kind of a traditional thing.

It was lucky for me because I met my wife in the Marine Corps.

Oh, awesome.

It's 61 years married.
