with the billing and stuff like that's now. We'll begin with the headline story of Volkswagen confirming that they will refresh their

ID3 and ID4 vehicles with new designs, new interiors and improvements to the vehicles.

These models were among the first EVs from the VW group, at least of the modern era,

but their sales didn't meet expectations, and some say it was down to their design.

The new redesign is inspired by the upcoming ID2 concept, which we've seen already.

In an interview with Auto Express magazine, Volkswagen's development head, Kai Grunitz,

confirmed that both the ID3 and the

ID4 will get new exteriors based on, well, the brand's existing design language for their

combustion stuff. Kai Grunits saying, and I quote, we will bring a re-skin for the ID3 and

ID4 with completely new design language going back to where we originally came from from a

design perspective and return to what Volkswagen is known for, end quote.

That's no bad thing.

If you have a look at the latest Volkswagen Golf or any of the combustion designs, which

are a little less friendly, perhaps, but more of my taste.
