be your host today. And of course with this production of our interviews with

Sawg Veterans who served in the Secret War during the Vietnam War is brought to

out on a personal note today when I was at CCN in 1969. My mother wrote me a

letter she said Johnny you know remember a little Tommy Wascovich he's a he's

a Vietnam just like you he's a green beret just like you but well my mother

didn't know and what the rest of America didn't know was that Tom and I were

at different bases fighting in the Secret War. It's my honor and pleasure today

to introduce and bring the Sawcast number 029 Tom R. Wascovich. Tom welcome to the

job brother. Well thank you very much so glad to be here and it's amazing that

I don't think most people know that we've known each other since we were nine

years old and the meeting that we finally did get together as Green Berets as

Green Berets was in house 10 or Secret Safehouse on a stairway on a stairway

had a little too much to drink that night I think you did I was going up you

were coming down till what are you doing here saw what are you doing here and on

it went so and I forget if I have had the letter from a yeah I have to get the

letter but anyways and that was other than the time I met you in your kitchen

in Trenton New Jersey delivering milk to you yeah we were little guys back

that's right little bit of my dad was a milk man and Tom's family was one of our

biggest customers nine years old geez amazing just amazing and here we are here
