0:47.3	I live about an hour from Brattleboro, Vermont, the town where Marble Arvetson lived and disappeared. And more often than I'd like to admit, I find myself driving over Florida Mountain through
0:53.3	the Pioneer Valley and across the state
0:55.8	line into his town, driving to all the places his friends and loved ones believed he might go,
1:02.6	all the places they thought he might have gone that day, the day he went missing, the day
1:07.8	before Hurricane Irene hit town.
1:11.6	I find myself driving in circles, wide stretches across southern Vermont.
1:18.6	For a kid with no car, Marble was able to get around quite a bit.
1:24.6	For example, the woods and his old abandoned house he'd like to hang out in
1:29.4	on sheer hill road, they're 14 miles from his house. His friends reported he'd often go there
1:36.9	alone. Sometimes he'd even walk. And the woods behind his friend, CJ's house in West Wardsboro, they're 27 miles from Marble's
1:47.8	house. The campground he liked in Reedsboro? It was 29 miles away. And while his friends
1:56.2	all insisted they didn't know Marble to hitchhike, they also conceded that he was naive.
2:02.9	He walked a lot, he'd bum rides from people, and if he was determined to get somewhere,
2:09.5	he'd likely get into any car that offered him a ride.
2:13.6	So while he wouldn't actively hitchhike, he also wouldn't say no to a friendly passer-by.
2:21.3	It's hard not to overlook the similarities between Marvel Arvidson and Israel Keys.
