Volvo sees significant rising plug-in sales.

Volvo cars in the year today, January to end of November, has sold 690,000 cars globally, up 10% on the same time

last year.

But EV sales are up pretty much wherever you look.

Europe up 39%.

Now 65% of their business has a plug socket on the side, up 5% in the US, up in China, something like 38%, even though the overall

Volvo China sales number was down a bit.

EVE sales, come to the rescue, as always.

Volvo's EX30 has earned a five-star rating, very important, of course, for brands anonymous

with safety and for good reason inventing many safety systems over the last

50 years, five-star Euro end cap for their little EX30 that continues to sell very well.

North Volt, the Swedish battery maker that's in Chapter 11, bankruptcy protection, not insolvent,

and actually is making cells, by the way. Contrary to general perception, if you only ever read headlines, it sounds like a disaster for the business,

but they just don't make enough of them or at a high enough quality.

But otherwise, they're trading and will continue as they restructure that business.

But Volkswagen Group, a major backup, and taking a big write-down recently,

Porsche, of course, part of them, could well

be delaying their 718 equivalent EV because of delays in getting stuff from North Vault.
