section of the Bible. So let me start in a word of prayer. We're going to dive

dive straight into this. Father, thank you for your word, thank you for having it

written and preserved these many centuries so that we can know your mind, so that we can know the truth, so that we can know your mind so that we can know the truth so

that we can know Christ and I pray that you would use the study today in a

very positive way in our lives we pray this in Christ's name. Amen. Okay, men. We're in 1st

John 4 verses 3 through 6 and we'll see if we can get through these verses. 1st John 4 verses 3 through 6 the title of this is

false prophets and true teachers false profits and true teachers and I'm going to begin reading in verse three which actually starts in the middle of a sentence

but that's okay this this still breaks out nicely.

And as the apostle John writes, he writes,

and every spirit that does not confess Jesus

is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming,

and now it is already in the world. You are from God, little children, and have overcome them.

Because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. They are from the world. Therefore they speak us from the world. They are from the world. Therefore they speak us from the world and the world

listens to them. We are from God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not from God does not listen to us.

He who is not from God does not listen to us.

By this we know the spirit of truth and the error.

In these verses,

John really pulls back the veil

and gives us penetrating insight into the invisible world of spiritual warfare.
