The Future is Open Hello and welcome to 10 Days of Festive Fear 2024 and we are on day number nine. And I have got one spooky story for you today. And this story comes from the 21st of October 2024. And our story today comes from Hannah. I used to volunteer at a horse riding

school which everyone believed was haunted. We had one specific pitchfork which we hung on the wall

in our feedroom when we weren't using it. One day it went missing. Obviously we thought it had just

been put somewhere else after someone had used it,

and we searched everywhere for it. After a while we gave up and seemed to forget about it after a few days.

We found it a few weeks later in the hayloft that wasn't actually used as a hay loft anymore,

but as a storage space for Christmas and Halloween decorations. We'd got up there

for the decorations. After a quick celebration of the return of our favourite pitchfork and some

questioning how it got up there, we returned it back to its spot on the wall and carried on as normal.

A couple of weeks later it was gone again. We searched high and low once again and found nothing, until we thought to try the hayloft.

And there it was, laying in the middle of the floor.

This happened a few times, and we began to call whatever was moving it the pitchfork ghost.

Apparently after we recognised something was there,

the activity seemed to pick up. There were alleyways behind the stables, where we stored the hay,

and people would come up to me and ask why I was running up and down them, or peeking through the

stables watching whoever was in there. It was never me. I was
