Welcome back to the Playing Around podcast.

I'm your host Paige Renee and we have a fun episode in store for you today.

We're doing a solo pod and I'm going to discuss the five things I've learned about golf

and the five things I have learned about business.

And I'm not going to waste any more time, so let's just get right into it and we're going

to start with golf.

Number one on the list is spend more time on the course.

I learned this the hard way, especially in junior golf.

I spent so much time on the driving range trying to get this perfect golf swing.

This Adam Scott golf swing because I thought if I had perfect mechanics and if I hit more

golf balls that that would translate over to the golf course and boy was I wrong.

It couldn't be farther from the truth.

I got so stuck in my own mind and being in this little box on the driving range that I had

a real hard time going through a pre-shot routine, seeing shots, working shots, bringing

my range game over to the golf course.

When I was practicing I always had my stick down, I'd drive a golf ball over, hit it,

drive golf ball over, hit it, drive golf ball over, hit it.

And I would do that for hours and hours and hours and I wasn't even focusing on where

the ball was going, seeing a shot, going through a pre-shot routine, I was only focusing

on my mechanics.
