Today I want to talk about a painting I was introduced to that I am fascinated by.

Especially now, I'm at the midpoint of my life where, you know, I look back to the half

of childhood, adult, young adulthood growing up, my children are growing up now, looking

ahead to the future of older adulthood and old age that I see others

have gone through or went through. I'm about to go through. I think a lot about life at this

point. When you stand at the midpoint, looking forwards and backwards, you think about just

the whole of life itself, a lot. So I've been thinking about that a lot. And these paintings I was

introduced to, I think they're really great symbols and illustrations

of life.

And for something to think about, meditate on as we go through life, don't let life,

you know, just pass you by.

So it's called The Voyage of Life.

My brother-in-law was in D.C. when I was there, I wanted to take my family to the pro-life march and summit, but they got sick. I also wanted to take my family to see all the museums in D.C. My brother-in-law went. He took my nephew and niece, his kids, and they saw, I went to the National Gallery of Art, and he showed me this painting. I thought, wow, that's really cool.
