Summary

Mark Ellis and Christian Harloff met me in the Belly Room of the Comedy Store to talk about the movies. We used the Oscars as an excuse to talk but really it was about movies in general. Those guys have made a life for themselves reviewing movies in a fun way and it was nice to talk to them about my problems with today's films. There's something about the Comedy Store that lets comics feel at ease.

0:29.2	Harlow, both comedians from the comedy store. Harlow doesn't really come anymore, but Ellis

0:43.2	movies for the internet a while ago. They started doing web videos and then they started working
0:52.8	for Fandango or all these other places. But they started, they went all in with the fucking
0:57.0	movies. They just started reviewing them. So they have this thing called Shmos No. They
1:00.7	have a podcast called The Shmos on Toadhop Network. It's on iTunes and stuff. That's all
1:07.8	they do. They just see movies. They turn themselves into like real reviewers. They go to screenings
1:12.5	and stuff with the other real reviewers. It's pretty cool. It's a pretty cool way to make
1:17.0	a living. And they're just funny guys. They do it in their own funny, you know, comedic way.
1:21.6	So I had them come in and they met me at the comedy store in the belly room and we went
1:26.9	over all the Oscar predictions and stuff for this year. And what it's like to be a reviewer.
1:34.2	So it's pretty fun. And then we got interrupted by Dick Wad, Paulie Shore, who loves to interrupt
1:38.9	shit. I'll talk about it in the outro, I guess, in the exit interview about his deal. But
1:47.4	anyway, so that's this episode. It's all about the 2013 Oscars. I don't know if you guys
1:52.6	see the movies or not. I stopped watching the Oscars. I stopped giving a fuck about it.
