Christine always knew from a young age she wanted to go into publishing. As a kid, she'd create

her own magazines. I'm saying that in quotations, because she would cut up books and magazines and put them together, and it was quite the start.

Because she would go on to work for major publications, places like Gourmet Magazine, the Daily, and the New Yorker, before creating Refinery 29, which today reaches 225 million women around the world every month.
