Hello there, this is Sam and this is episode 108 of the Victor Prep Vocal Podcast.

It is Thanksgiving Week, which means in a few days everyone's going to get a couple of days off to eat lots of

food, which is nice. And, weirdly enough, I have super dry lips today. I don't know why. But this is actually a big problem

when trying to podcast because I keep feeling like my lips are dry and it's harder for me to enunciate the words

correctly so I keep having to just sort of stop and drink water and wipe my lips. Because I just have the sensation that there's

bits of dry skin on them, which is probably too much information.

But anyway.

Okay, right, as always, let me quickly review the words from last time, so that was episode 107, and we had

indigence, milk, naive, and acidulous, indigence that is a state of extreme poverty being very poor

bilk to obtain money or to withhold money from someone by deceit, to cheat someone, defraud

someone. Naive, that means showing a lack of experience, wisdom to be innocent or inexperienced and

a Sidulus, that means it's sharp tasting or indeed sour and if you make a

Nisidulous remark that's a bitter or a cutting remark.

All right then we have four new words, and this is episode 108.

Let's get going. Our first word is anomaly.

Anomale spelled Ano-M-A-L-Y. It's a noun and it's fairly simple. An anomaly, that's tricky to say, an anomaly is anything that deviates from the normal, something that deviates from what's

standard or expected.

So in our lives we'll have an idea about what's normal.

What's the expected thing that's going to happen

in any given situation and that's based on our experience.

So we expect chickens to act in a certain way. They strut around a
