wrap-up. New trims and lower prices for the ID models in the UK. ID3, 4 and 5 get new trims,

pure essential and pure match and a smaller battery of 52 kilowatt hours. Quad-motor BMWm vehicles are on the horizon, putting four motors in the vehicle for all sorts

of fancy torque vectoring and a thousand horsepower in, you know, not a Rimax-Navera or a pin in

forina-batista, but a BMW-M vehicle, not exactly for the masses, but certainly not supercar territory. Record sales of

zero emission vehicles are happening in Canada, led by cities like Montreal, where ZEV adoption

is going from 22% last year to 33% so far in 2024. And congratulations to New Jersey. New

Jersey's reached over 200,000 registered electric vehicles.

And the EV market share in Jersey, always above the national average. A bit behind California

in places. Of course, they have just reduced their incentives and added a $250 registration

tax for the first four years of owning the vehicle, which is going to go up in the future.

So removing incentives, adding taxes, could be careful that they don't sort of slow down the EV adoption there in a state that's been very pro-EV.

A record drop in new EV battery costs, according to Bloomberg new energy finance.

They say the average battery price

now at $115 per kilowatt hour in 2024. Yeah, I've been talking about $55, $60 per

kilowatt hour. It's on the Chinese companies. That's true. I'm wondering if the data they've

got here is kind of global data, average data, all chemistries, you know, high and low-end stuff.

So, you know, I talk about the best case scenario with the cheapest LFP packs and sometimes it's sell

price, battery pack price sometimes with all the additional components and ancillaries on it. Either

way, they're pointing out how much it's coming down to achieve price equivalence with combustion

cars. The Cadillac Escalade IQ pricing is out, starting at just 130,000, but feel free to spend 150,000,
