Around 10 p.m. on January 30th, 1993, Lynette Tashita went to the Windixi store and Eustis.

It was at the Grove Square shopping center in Lake County, Florida.

She saw a young man and a teenage boy sitting on a bench near the entrance of the store. As she walked in the store, she noticed how intense

the older one was. He was tall, muscular, his smooth but dark skin and handsome features betrayed by an angry scowl.

He watched Lynette enter the store and she felt his eyes on her back as the automatic door

slid shut.

Lynette went shopping.

For those unaware when Dixie is a southern grocery chain, I spent a lot of time in the

store as a kid.

Though as an adult I became a public's faithful. Can't beat their

subs. Back to Lynette, as time passed, she forgot about the man who had mad- dogged her on the way into the store.

By the time she finished shopping and checked out, the two outside had left her thoughts.

Manette didn't notice that the two young men were sitting on a nearby bench.

It was too late before she realized one of them was walking ahead of her and the other behind

keeping pace.

Lynette didn't know what to do once she noticed.

She was holding on to every moment.

If she ran, then it would force whatever was going to happen,

to happen all at once. She picked up pace.

As she approached her car, the taller one ahead of her, went to the end of her car's front

bumper, turning around and stood.

She quickly got into the car and locked the doors.
