Hello there, this is Sam, and this is episode 114 of the VictorProP Vocat Podcast.

And those of you who are paying attention, who have seen that yesterday's episode was

titled Malia's Maleficorum, and have probably been wondering why.

So this actually means the hammer of witches in Latin, and that Malia's Maleficorum

is a 15th century treatise on witches and witchcraft.

And so what while I was doing the research for the word Maliable, I just came across this

book, and I haven't read it, I haven't read the hammer of witches, but actually reading

about it, it sounds quite interesting, I've not personally read any, any old books about

witches or witchcraft, but if anyone wants to, if anyone wants to actually read this and

write into the podcast and tell us how it is, and if it's a recommendation, and please

do so.

Okay, now on to other things.

So I wanted to say that part of why I read quotes and read some poetry on this podcast

is because I want to share things I like, and also because I do want to encourage people

to read in general, and perhaps read some things that maybe they wouldn't have.

Maybe they think poetry is not for them or lame or too difficult, and I want to change

that idea, because I don't think it's the case, I think you can love something modern

and high tech like AI in video games and also love poetry.

But what I want to say is really that I believe there's a transformational aspect to reading,

which opens our minds, connects us to others both throughout time, and also across distances

and different lands and cultures, and as we read more and incorporate that all that
