Over the last several days, the Vatican has released news that Pope Francis has been hospitalized for a chest infection.

And news that's come out today is that his condition has become worse, although it does appear that he is awake, he is reading newspapers, and he's

conversing. Here is the latest from Diane Montania, and this is the most recent news that I've

been able to find from a trustworthy source, Diane Montania, a great journalist, consider her a friend.

She wrote, Just In, the Vatican has just

issued a more detailed health update on Pope Francis, saying the laboratory test, the chest

x-ray, and the clinical conditions of the Holy Father continue to present a complex picture.

And then Diane Montania goes on with two more posts.

The Vatican added the microbial infection, which arose in a context of bronchiatosis and

asthmatic bronchitis in which required the use of cortisone and antibiotic therapy

makes a therapeutic treatment more complex the vatican also noticed the chest cat scan
