Hello, it's Thursday, February 6th, and I've got a great guest for you joining us today,

0:08.6

who came highly recommended from our friend Carlo in Canada, looking for someone to talk to about Canadian culture and traditions and politics.

0:18.0

And Carlo suggested maybe the perfect person. Today's guest is Dean Blundell. He's a former

0:24.5

radio guy, broadcaster, commentator, media guy, and we really hit it off. I got to say this is

0:32.3

one of the better conversations I've had with someone I didn't know at all in a real long time

0:36.7

and maybe one of the best conversations I've had in a while.

0:40.0

I learned a lot from Dean.

0:41.4

We got personal.

0:42.4

It got real.

0:43.8

And it was really enlightening to hear his perspective on things.

0:48.3

So I hope that you like this conversation because it's the whole show today.

0:52.8

It was about an hour long conversation,

0:54.9

1:01.0

which included getting away. I got out in the woods with my friend Dr. Zatz, which is always a really

1:06.7

important Wednesday tradition. We go almost every Wednesday into the woods with our dogs. I

1:10.3

highly recommend you do it. And you should do it with Dr. Satz because he's the best.

1:14.7

So if he's available, you should try to find him and invite him out there. And then I got

1:20.3

an impromptu invitation from my daughter to hang out and did that. We went outside,

1:25.5

played lacrosse because she's getting ready for tryouts again.

1:29.0

And so it really made it hard for me to get my work done. But I was also happy not to do it.

1:34.7

There's just too much news. I worked all day in between that. But I just couldn't get the news

1:39.0

segment done and everything else because it was exhausting yesterday. There was a lot going on.
