Summary

In the early morning hours of November 12, 2010, 47-year-old Paul Skinner was stabbed to death in his own bed, an attack planned by his 17-year-old daughter Tia Skinner, with help from her boyfriend, 18-year-old Jonathan Kurtz, and their 18-year-old friend James Preston, in Yale, Michigan.

Her mother Mara survived the attack, and started the nonprofit organization psyouremyhero.org to help victims of violent crime.
