Welcome back to mood with Florian Elizabeth. I'm Florian Elizabeth and today's episode is going to be a little bit different because I just have so many

0:10.3

exciting and just honest updates to share with you guys. So for our current mood combo, we are going to just take a look at mood, my journey, and what is next for this podcast, which I hope you guys are going to be really excited about. And spoiler alert,

0:27.9

that is the last time you're going to hear that intro. So I'm not going to spoil it, but just maybe get excited. I don't know. First, let's obviously jump into best mood and worst mood of the week. So my best mood this week was just kind of like figuring shit out. You know, one thing just start kind of clicking in your head and you think for yourself, okay, this is what's supposed to be happening. This is kind of showing me that I'm on the right path. I'm excited about things.

0:58.5

Everything's just finally kind of falling into place. And I really, really felt that this past week. I just really trusted myself. I trusted my instincts. And I trusted that the things that were kind of falling into my lap were right for me. And we're aligned with my purpose and what I want. And just exciting, whether it was something

1:22.3

personal and just in normal life and career wise, right? So you know, when you just have those moments where you just feel like, okay, I'm on the right track. Like I'm not everything's perfect. And I'm not crushing it like 100% of the time. But everything really feels like aligned. And kind of going in the right direction. And it's not as nerve wrecking thinking about what's next because you kind of feel really confident.

1:50.6

And I'm doing the things I need to do right now in this moment. And they're taking me to the next place that I want to be. And that's really something that, you know, as someone with anxiety that you know, your future tripping about. I mean, I, we haven't really talked about future tripping in a while. But it's a phrase where you're kind of, you know, freaking out about the future and just tripping over it. You know, like you're just like, what is happening? What am I going to do? I don't know what the future holds, etc. And I think for someone that something that I can easily do.

2:20.6

When things start to feel really aligned and making sense, but you're not kind of overexerting yourself. It's just kind of happening. It makes you feel really confident and secure. And it's really all those small things that add up to things kind of starting to work out and go in your favor. So I feel really lucky to have felt that this past week because, you know, even as I say it out loud, I'm like, oh my god, like, I don't want to jinx it. Like is it really happening? Like what if I say it right now on the podcast?

2:49.6

And then everything just goes this shit. But that's future tripping. So we're just going to allow ourselves to, you know, take the win, take the best mood. You know, know that it's okay.

3:00.6

And so then obviously my worst mood is just kind of those little moments of, I mean, I'm not sure. Okay, is this right? Am I, am I the best? And I think a lot of that comes from insecurity and, you know, not believing in yourself.

3:16.6

Because sometimes a lot of things in life and other people are aligned and supportive and excited. And you feel that excitement for yourself. And then it's the self doubt, you know, it's the insecurity.

3:28.6

It's the lifelong journey of beating yourself up so that when good things happen to you, you're already wired to, you know, be not kind to yourself and not believing yourself. And that is how my brain is wired.

3:43.6

You know, I think that I come off as a very confident and secure person to a lot of people. But in reality, I've lived of really, you know, 28 years of like beating myself up and not being kind to myself and not loving myself and thinking that I'm the underdog or whatever it is, whether it's in my personal life or career.

4:04.6

Like I'm always like, oh, like I'm going to be that one friend that, you know, is a shit storm and everything sucks for her. And she's always got some, some kind of, you know, sob story or shit going on in her life.

4:16.6

And that's just who I am. Or it's in career, like, oh, I'm always the underdog. Like nothing's ever going to work out for me. And no one's going to see my success. Or it's never going to be good enough.

4:28.6

So I don't think that that overpowered my week. I think that I did a good job of really truly believing in myself and focusing on the right things. But there is obviously that little voice in your head that can creep in and try to ruin it.

4:42.6

It's really important to remember that that's just a voice in your head. It's not real. And to tell it sometimes to shut the fuck up. Because it's like, no, like not today.

4:54.6

Say in, but like it's yourself. So that is my worst mood of the week. But I think sometimes it's good to really be like, you know what that happened. But I really let my best mood shine.

5:06.6

Now it worked from our sponsor better help. I clearly can easily get stuff focusing on problems instead of solutions.

5:13.6

But sometimes you just have to think how might that situation go better with a different mindset. You know, you have to really train your brain to stay in problem solving mode when faced with a challenge in life. But when you learn how to find your own solutions, there's literally no better feeling.

5:26.6

And a therapist can help you become a better problem solver, making it easier to accomplish your goals, no matter how big or small they are.

5:33.6

I mean, I've been in therapy for years and years and years now. And I just know for a fact that I would not be who I am today, whether it's problem solving or that little voice in my head, my relationships in my life, the tools that I know how to cope everything.

5:52.6

I mean, whether you're just like unloading stress or you genuinely need real deep emotional healing, help with anxiety, depression, whatever it is, I really think that starting therapy and just trying it out is there's just no better thing to do.
